May 11, 2026 - NMFS allocated additional (top-off) Pacific whiting pounds into Quota Share (QS) accounts. The final allocation (total QP for 2026) for the shorebased IFQ sector is 213,766,373 pounds. Log in to your QS account, and click on QP Transfer Summary under the Account Details tab for more information. Please refer to the Final Rule in the Federal register for more information on this final allocation: https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2026/05/11/2026-09293/magnuson-stevens-act-provisions-fisheries-off-west-coast-states-pacific-coast-groundfish-fishery
