Description

This project enabled staff to attend many conferences and public events such as the Oregon Chapter of the American Fisheries Society, where an outreach booth was set-up and manned. Over 550 individuals attended this conference and an OSU speaking engagement was set up for addressing Indigenous Natural Resource issues. Website information related to Tribal PCSRF projects was continually updated. Other activities included:
• Organized and led a water quality workshop for Native American high school students participating in the Wisdom of the Elders/NAYA Summer Camp along the Columbia River on July 11th.
• Met with a faculty member and a graduate student from the Oregon State University Fisheries Program to discuss partnerships for youth outreach programs including Salmon Camp in Portland on July 17th.
