Description

This project commissioned a comprehensive report based on probabilistic and reference stream sampling data collected in 2003 - 2004 for the Oregon portion of the Lower Columbia River ESU. The report analyzed the extent of water quality and habitat stressors (e.g. warm water temperature, excess fine sediment, low dissolved oxygen, etc.) and the risk of these stressors to the biological integrity as determined by an analysis of macroinvertebrate and vertebrate communities. The information contained within this report will be used to guide recovery planning and in future limiting factor analysis.

Project Benefit

The information on water quality monitoring in the Lower Columbia River ESU provided by this project will be used to guide recovery planning and in future limiting factor analysis.
