Description

In coordination with the Karuk Tribe, an individual was hired to participate in all aspects of FERC related activities. Substantial coordination amongst the Tribes has occurred as well as outreach to all interests of the Klamath Basin. This project has contributed to the Tribes active participation in the Klamath FERC relicensing process, a process that has much potential to restore salmon to the Upper Klamath Basin.

Project Benefit

Increased participation by the Tribes in the FERC process. This has contributed to what will likely result in dramatically improved conditions for Klamath River fish populations.
