Description    


Legislative allocations to the Clackamas County Soil and Water Conservation District for conducting outreach and providing technical assistance to landowners interested in doing restoration projects. The types of projects include: CREP implementation, water development, brush management, direct spending, cover crops to control soil erosion, fencing to improve grazing management, riparian fencing, filter strips to control erosion, stream habitat improvements and management, fish passage, irrigation water management, weed management, grazing management, and nutrient management.

Project Benefit    


Benefits achieved include increase landowner knowledge of the relationship between land management, water quality and salmonid survival. Implementation of management actions regarding conservation needs on private lands enhanced watershed condition and salmonid survival
