Description    


Skookumchuck- decommission of 4,100 feet of failing side-cast logging road and the removal of seven culvert fills opening up 1.3 miles additional headwater s habitat. Deep Creek- removal of three headwater road culverts that were blocking a total of 14,000 feet of prime salmon habitat. One culvert was replaced with a BIG-R bridge, one was totally abandoned, and one was replaced with a counter sunk 8 round pipe. In addition 2,500 feet of logging road was decommissioned. Revegetation of these areas is planned for spring of 2003.
