Description
This project is an ongoing planning and coordination project (see CCT02-6 and CCT03-4). This project will allow the Colville Tribes to develop and maintain capacity to participate in regional salmon recovery, coordination and watershed planning activities. Participation in these processes is essential to the success of the Colville Tribes Chinook salmon and steelhead conservation and restoration activities; and to the effective implementation of recovery efforts at the local and Columbia River Basin scale.
Project Benefit
Contribute to an increase in Tribal capacity to implement watershed/subbasin plans. Improve survival and recovery of listed and non-listed salmon and steelhead through development of implementation strategies that address measures and actions identified in subbasin and recovery plans.
