Description    


The purpose of this project is to pursue ecosystem level watershed restoration to support steelhead recovery in priority streams and rivers, through the planning and implementation of restoration projects; building long term impact of the Coalition; increase Coalition membership and capacity; advance a scientific basis of Coalition operation and project implementation; promote public outreach, education and community engagement for southern steelhead recovery based upon the National Marine Fisheries Service Southern Steelhead Recovery Plan (2012).

Project Benefit    


The specific objective(s) of this Project are (a) to build the long term

impact of the South Coast steelhead Coalition, (b) Increase Coalition membership

and capacity, (c) complete an assessment of Upper Trabuco Creek, and (d)

promote public outreach, education and community engagement for steelhead

recovery
