CCC Camarillo Steelhead Restoration Support Team - Fish Habitat Assistant

This Project will provide the Grantee with a Fish Habitat Assistant (FHA), which

will increase the CCC Camarillo center?s capacity to perform habitat restoration

projects, educate staff and Corpsmembers about southern California steelhead,

give Corpsmembers valuable technical skills through implementing restoration

projects, collaborate with natural resource agencies, and provide outreach about

the need for steelhead habitat restoration to private landowners and others

community members.

This project will improve habitat conditions for the benefit of southern California

steelhead within the coastal streams located from Point Conception to Northern

Santa Monica Bay by planning and implementation of fisheries restoration projects in multiple watersheds.



Grantee will identify and develop southern California steelhead habitat restoration projects, develop partnerships with organizations, improve public outreach, collaborate with private landowners, implementing projects, and education of Corps members.
