Description    


An underwater video camera was operated in the flume of the Shasta River Fish Counting Facility (SRFCF) 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from September 6, 2023, until December 28, 2023. Fish counting operations at the Scott River Fish Counting Facility began on September 20, 2023, and ended on December 27, 2023.

Project Benefit    


Adult abundance and trend information is critical monitoring information identified in both the Federal and State Coho Salmon recovery plans that are required for listing status updates and tracking the effectiveness of restoration actions. Without this basic population information delisting criteria could not be met.
