The purpose of the project is to document fish use to inform management and restoration of fisheries resources and salmon habitats, assess and characterize baseline conditions of instream and riparian habitats, and to develop large woody debris, instream, and riparian forest rehabilitation designs. The emphasis of this year’s funding will be in the Big Creek Sub-basin (or other moderate to large size tributary to the Upper Quinault River) and further assessment of the Upper Quinault mainstem river (Wilson’s Reach) for prioritization of restoration actions.
