Description

The Office of Species Conservation (OSC) will be responsible for the administration of the 2023 PCSRF grant award in a cost effective and efficient manner to meet NOAA administrative requirements. Tasks completed under this project will include, but are not limited to:

Coordination and support to the Idaho PCSRF Board (Board). The Idaho PCSRF Board was set up in 2004 when the State of Idaho, through OSC, began receiving PCSRF funds from NOAA. The Board calls for a competitive public hearing at least once a year to receive, review and fund projects.

Coordination, administration, and oversight activities necessary to ensure that the PCSRF sub-grantees approved by the Board are provided with, and provide, information, reports, documentation, invoicing, and participation necessary to meet NOAA Fisheries PCSRF requirements and objectives.

Coordination and communication with NOAA to meet requirements and objectives for financial and progress reporting, reimbursement using ASAP, NOAA PCSRF Project database entry, grants online entry, grant application process, grant closure, and other requirements as assigned.

Project Benefit

The Idaho Office of Species Conservation administration of the 2023 PCSRF funding will assure that projects are completed and the outcomes of those projects will benefit ESA listed species by improving and restoring habitat. Program management and monitoring of this grant will provide an indirect contribution towards recovery of Snake River Basin ESA fish species.
