Description
Engineer designs were developed to 100% for a pool-chute fish passage feature on Meyer Gulch. The feature will pass all salmonids at all life stages. The design is not fundable or permittable for implementation by FRGP but is a typical design that CDFW and NOAA permit and it can be funded through other means.
Project Benefit
This project will address impediments to adult and juvenile fish passage to 0.75 miles of upstream habitat in Meyer Gulch. The existing culvert likely poses a temporal migration barrier to all life stages of steelhead trout. This project will produce final engineered designs to replace the existing culvert with a new structure that adheres to CDFW and NMFS passage guidelines.
