Description

The project treated 630 feet of stream channel with installation of 13 large wood structures. Structures were placed in an existing (regraded) alcove. Several thousand riparian tree cuttings planted with wood structures and floodplain features. A complex off channel alcove with large woody debris cover was created on the river left of the stream reach treated with large wood structures. Invasive plant species were removed in project area.

Project Benefit

The expected project results are enhancement of cover habitat, pool formation and complexity, reducing stream velocity, gravel sorting and riparian vegetation
