The Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) and the Governor’s Salmon Recovery Office (GSRO) are required by statute (RCW 77.85.020) to produce a biennial State of Salmon in Watersheds report for the Legislature. The State of Salmon in Watersheds report tells the legislature and the public what we are doing with salmon dollars, and how the fish and habitat are doing. As in past reports, the 2014 version of State of Salmon in Watersheds is both a website (www.stateofsalmon.wa.gov) and a hard-copy executive summary (also found in the website) full of data, stories, and key messages from our partners in salmon recovery.
