Project Benefit
This project will help ensure that the habitat portions of the Summer Chum and Chinook Salmon Recovery Plans are implemented in accordance with the lead entity area overseen by the Hood Canal Coordinating Council. These activities include developing both short term (3 Year Work Program) and long term (Habitat Work Schedule) project lists and evaluating and ranking project proposals.

The project supports the development of salmon recovery recommendations developed through various resource management processes. Involvement with watershed planning activities results in identifying and then preparing to address factors that may be constraining the recovery of healthy natural salmon production in the Tribe's Usual and Accustomed (U&A) area. |
