Current recovery documents incorporate broad based strategies that only incorporate limiting factors. These documents focused on entire stream systems. The goal of this project is to provide decision makers with explicit reach level information for priority streams in WRIA 14 that have explicit actions, goals and timeline that will promote coho and steelhead recovery in South Puget Sound. This will help ensure that projects selected have a high likelihood of success and are self-maintaining over the long term.
The information generated will provide a strategy to policy level personnel, planners, and on the ground restoration and conservation groups to rank and identify explicit actions in a stream reach and site specific context.
