Description    


The SLRWC worked in coordination with the Pala Tribe to install 2 agricultural irrigation efficiency pilot projects on the Robert’s Ranch Grove (owner - Pala Tribe). Held 29 technical workshops on water efficiency, held 4 public education workshops on Water Conservation, developed and posted to 4 water conservation educational videos on Youtube, installed 20 Laundry-to-Landscape grey water systems at rural and urban residences and 2 rainwater catchment systems.

Project Benefit    


Increase water quantity with conservation efforts to provide water during low-flow periods. By increasing water quantity, Steelhead will have access to upstream spawning habitat during low-flow events.
