Description

Purchase of surveyor grade GPS for plotting restoration activities. Purchase of high resolution GIS mapping for detailed restoration planning

Project Benefit

High resolution imagery will allow the Klamath Tribes to analyze conditions at a broader scale which will increase the scope of our analysis. High resolution imagery will allow for fine scale analysis of habitat features, such as gravel bars, in-stream wood features, and bank erosion; these features are extremely important in terms of planning habitat restoration activities for all life stages of Chinook Salmon.
