Description    


Forty-four members served throughout coastal California from October 10, 2015 to August 12, 2016. Members educated 1,717 students in the Wonders of Waterhseds curriculum and 81% of the students who copleted the series inclreased their knowledge of watershed processes by at least 20%. Members provided outreach presentations and educational opportunities to 15,209 community members, natural resource professionals and students. Members engaged 1,828 community volunteers in 7,320 hours of watershed restoration project implementation at 36 habitat protection and restoration projects. Seven-hundred-eighty-two landowners were reached by this project.

Project Benefit    


Assessments are conducted to enhance all of the limiting factors at various work sites.
