Description

Compiled and managed anadromous fish passage assessment data in California, and made data available to other agencies and the public via the CalFish website. Kept passage assessment data up to date by compiling new information about fish barriers and updating existing fish barrier records. Enhanced web-based and analytical tools, and enhanced data available in these PAD online tools. Assisted state and federal agencies, counties and conservation and fisheries organization annually with their fish passage priority lists by reviewing the lists. Tested and assisted with the development of the Fish Passage Forums Barrier Prioritization Model, a tool for prioritizing barrier removals. Reviewed of FRGP proposals for downstream and upstream barriers. Collaborated and cooperated on data sharing, data exchange, and reporting with partner agencies and groups. Conducted outreach and training to data providers and users of PAD, which included CDFW Region 5.
