Description    


This project performed hydrologic reviews and created hydrologic summaries of pending reservations of water on the following streams for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game: Nakwasina River, Harris River, Peterson Creek (Douglas Island), and Farragut River.

Project Benefit    


The rivers and lakes of SEAK support and provide access to some of North America’s most viable and productive salmon fisheries. Salmon habitat in these water bodies is dependent on sufficient quantities of water at appropriate times to maintain healthy salmon populations. This project will benefit salmon resources and users by facilitating the reservation of sufficient quantities of water to sustain salmon production in priority water bodies.
