South Coast Streams - Community Based Fisheries Restoration

The grantee provided organization and staff support for community-based watershed groups in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties to promote Southern steelhead restoration, watershed management and public education.

Provide organization and staff support for community-based watershed groups including the Carpinteria Watershed Coalition and the Rincon Creek Watershed Council in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties to promote Southern steelhead restoration, watershed management, and public education. The Grantee shall find creative ways to address limiting factors such as barriers to migration, water quality, water quantity issues, riparian dysfunction, excess sedimentation through the watershed, and public outreach activities.
