Description

The applicant was unable to install 4 of the 5 structures. 3 of the sites changed and the instream habitat components were no longer needed. 1 site was not installed due to time constraints due to permit issues. Site 4 was completed, LWD and two pools.

Project Benefit

This project will install five instrream structures (large woody debris) in Solstice Creek that will create pools and provide over-summering/rearing cover for juvenile steelhead. It will also serve as a demonstration project for stakeholders in southern California who are interested in installing bioengineering structures for restoration purposes.
