Description
Feasibility of oxbow reconnection in South Fork Salmon River at Reed Ranch. This would extend the meandering miles of the in-stream habitat, although no habitat work besides filling in the blowout would be conducted. Completed reconnaissance of area and compiled visuall and photographic evidence of problem. Contacted numerous agencies and local landowners, however, the oxbow reconnection was unsuccessful.
Project Benefit
Extend the range of spawning, rearing, holding, and passage habitat to salmonids.
