Description    


Defined fishing management unit areas (FMU); escapement objective for each FMU; establishing abundance-based harvest rate objectives on management framework for each FMU that incorporates the NOAA-Fisheries viable population analysis; forcasting methods for each FMU; and monitoring and evaulation and enforcement for tribal fisheries within each FMU.

Project Benefit    


Protects Tribal Harvest within a conservation-based harvest management framework. Defined fishing management unit areas (FMU); escapement objective for each FMU; establishing abundance-based harvest rate based management framework for each FMU, that incorporates the N0AA-F viable population analyses; forcasting methods for each FMU; inseason update methods for each FMU; and monitoring and evaluation and enforcement for tribal fisheries within each FMU.
