Description

The Tribe purchased a Cat 320 L Excavator which will prove most useful (and cost beneficial) for years to come regarding the years of proposed Stream Restoration efforts and Road Repair projects that the Tribe will be implementing in the future.

Project Benefit

By purchasing this Excavator(rather than renting it) the Tribe will be better equipped to take on a myriad of land management activities (Stream Restoration, Road Repair, Bank Stabilization, ) that arise. The amount it would cost to rent an excavator for the time it will take to complete these stream restoration projects would exceed the cost of purchasing ... In addition, by the Tribe owning the equipment, the Tribe will be able to respond to whatever projects require this type of equipment as well as providing additional employment opportunities for the Equipment operators.
