Selective Fishery Modeling and Monitoring Program

Annual reports were completed that detailed the on-board observer program and summarized by-catch estimates associated with mark selective fisheries off the Oregon coast. DIT analyses associated with mark selective fisheries and impacts to unmarked stocks were completed as well. ODFW also continued representation and contributed products produced by the Pacific Salmon Treaty Selective Fishery Evaluation Committee (SFEC).

Continued development and expansion of mark selective fisheries and associated economic benefits and estimates of by-catch in mark selective ocean recreational and commercial fisheries. Refinement of mark selective fishery models and Double Index Tag (DIT) Group analytical methods.
