Description

Progress on this project was slowed by the departure of the Conservation Scientist within the Fish Science Department at CRITC, until Dr. Peter Galbreath was recruited in February 2003. To address the inaccuracy of data in the Methow River, Okanogan County, Washington, CRITFC and Fishery Department of the Yakama Nation Personnel participated in an ADF& G managed SSSF project entitled, :CRITFC: A Stock Assessment and Research Plan for Mid-Columbia River Summer Chinook (Project No. 45060). Additional CRITFC personnel, supported through this PCSRF project, have contributed advice and support to the Methow project.

Project Benefit

Provide ecologically sound methods of using artificial propagation in tribal programs.
