Description

Remote assessment methodologies (orthophoto surveys) were emphasized, along with field surveys. This project was closely related to Subbasin Planning efforts and has benefited as well as contributed to Assessment work for Subbasin Planning as well as interaction with the public. Project sites and types have been identified. The project was completed after $8,335 were expended. The remainder of the funds were transferred to another FY2002 Project.

Project Benefit

Assess Rock Creek watershed conditions and identify and prioritize future watershed enhancement projects. These actions will ultimately benefit ESA listed Mid-Columbia steelhead.
