Description

The bulldozer has been purchased, and structural upgrades have been made to the bulldozer to allow it to more efficiently be used in the removal of Russian olive. These upgrades include the attachment of a safety cage around the driver and the addition of a device that allows the bulldozer to remove the small branches left on the ground after tree removal. It is currently being used to remove invasive Russian olive trees at the Satus Wildlife Area. This work will continue for many years to come.

Project Benefit

The restoration of several thousand of acres of flood-plain habitats along the anadromous fish-bearing waterways on the Yakama Reservation.
