Description

The original intent of purchasing property that would encompass riparian habitat enhancement and protection, coho acclimation and office storage space was nullified when the identified property was sold before contracting could be finalized between the YIN and CRITFC. After intensive property investigations, the YN has identified another property that will provide incubation capabilities for the coho reintroduction program plus office, and storage space in the Wenatchee basin. The YIN purchased this property during 2004 and has put it into use for the described activities.

Project Benefit

Protection and restoration of riparian and in-stream habitat, and continued and increased fisheries enhancement activities.
