Description

Work was performed during 2002, 2003, and 2004. Fence projects and water developments were patrolled and maintained, photopoints were taken, sediment samples were collected and contract let for laboratory analysis.

Project Benefit

With continued protection from livestock grazing, Riparian habitats within the projects will have increased vegetative cover, which will result in improved streambank stability and shading and cooler summer temperatures. Salmon habitat quality will improve, and stream carrying capacity and smolt production are expected to increase.
