Description

Funding has been used to conduct a wide variety of habitat assessment monitoring techniques, including: Instream gravel sampling, remote Hobo Thermal Sensor placement and retrieval, Habitat Restoration Project effectiveness monitoring, Creel Surveys, Pike Minnow monitoring and other fisheries related studies until funding has been completed. A Final Report will be presented once all the data has been compiled and will be utilized in the development of the Tribes Fisheries Management Plan.

Project Benefit

This Project has allowed the Tribe to develop a baseline database of existing habitat conditions for use in future projects and as a reference point for changes that naturally occur and those changes resulting from restoration efforts.
