Description
This Project allowed the Tribe to add additional boulder rip rap in several locations that were instrumental in improving pool development, as well as protecting and improving bank stabilization. Bio-engineering techniques were also employed by placing hundreds of feet of additional Willow Wall weir plantings and placements for bank protection and bank stabilization.
Project Benefit
This Project provides the means by which the Tribe can go back and review the previous years of Mill Creek Stream Restoration work and make improvements to the form and function of the Project by making adjustments to improve pool development, increase bank stabilization locations, adjust boulder to improve or adjust stream flow dynamics as necessary to improve, protect or enhance overall project effectiveness.
