Description
All ten projects were completed by 3/31/2023. These monitoring projects were vital to inform viability assessments for ESA-listed species or non-listed populations that support treaty fishing rights. The projects were essential for gauging hatchery performance, in particular for evaluating rearing and release strategies, and for determining hatchery contributions to fisheries and adult escapement. Accomplishments for individual projects are captured in semi-annual progress reporting in PRISM attachments.
Project Benefit
Implementing these projects is crucial component of salmon recovery and benefit populations important to the exercise of treaty fishing rights.
