This included developing a ranked project opportunities list for future implementation and several conceptual designs. The Board also completed preliminary designs for two high rated projects. The projects list will benefit Summer and Winter Steelhead, Chum, Coho, and Fall Chinook.

Description and scope of the plan implemented | |
To protect and restore high quality, well-functioning salmon and steelhead habitat through a combination of site-specific projects that will protect habitat. The geographic scope of the project focused on 20.5 miles of the highest priority reaches identified in Volume 1, Chapter 7 of the recovery plan (see Table 7-31), and Volume II, P-Wind River Subbasin Chapter, Table P-34. The project focuses on highest priority populations identified in the recovery scenario (Table 3-1, Page 3-6) for the subbasin. By developing a focused project strategy, the project specifically addresses the guidance in Section 4.1.2 The assessment evaluated all limiting factors identified in Tables 4-1 and 4-2, and developed prioritized actions to address them. In addition, it addressed the species-specific limiting factors in Tables 6-5, 7-5, 8-5, 9-5, and 9-6. |
