Description
This project developed final engineering design plans to restore hydrologic connectivity between the floodplain wetland and Ryan Creek by building a series of six off-channel high-quality salmonid rearing ponds, enhancing the existing floodplain, and improving connectivity from both the Cutten and Harris branches to reduce salmonid standing.
FY19 funds were spent within the award window.
Project Benefit
The primary benefit from this Project will be the development of 100% Design Plans for an off-channel, salmonid rearing habitat enhancement and wetland connectivity project in the lower Ryan Creek watershed. Implementation of the 100% design plans would result in a primary benefit of providing year-round rearing habitat for juvenile salmonids in the lower Ryan Creek watershed.
