Description

This project adjoined a downstream project directly, known as the Roys Pools fish passage project, together, they make up a continuous restoration site. The engineering designs of the channel was prepared by Environmental Science Associates. The construction was accomplished by Hanford ARC. Revegetation and biotechnical bank stabilization along the graded slopes resulted in native willows, trees, and understory plants. A temporary irrigation system was installed to assist in revegetation.

Project Benefit

Provide winter habitat, storm and juvenile refugia, and LWD will provide cover protection from predators
