Description
This project purchased 200,000 coded-wire tags (CWT’s) for tagging brood year 2021 Tulalip Hatchery summer Chinook in 2022. The monitoring component (tag recovery) was done under the stock assessment proposal
Project Benefit
CWT information will ultimately to be used to determine exploitation and harvest rates for natural- and hatchery-origin fish and compare those to other brood years to evaluate how effectively the program is providing terminal area harvest benefits. Accomplishments
