Description

An off-stream cattle watering facility was installed approximately one mile from the Sycan River. The landowner constructed a livestock watering well during 2019 and the Klamath Tribes contracted to install 2 cattle watering troughs, installed well pump, water shut-off valve, rock pads, and solar array to power the pump.

Project Benefit

The landowner has already drilled a well for the project. PCSRF funds will be used to construct an off-stream watering facility including watering troughs, solar pump and solar panels. The off-stream water facility excludes cattle from entering the Sycan River for drinking.
