Description
The actual project description is the same as the proposed. The project supported the annual Spring Run Chinook and Summer Steelhead census for tributaries of the Klamath River. Snorkel surveys were conducted during the summer months on the Salmon River, Wooley Creek, Bluff Creek, Red Cap Creek, Camp Creek, Dillon Creek, Clear Creek, Elk Creek, Indian Creek, Thompson Creek, Grider Creek and the lower Scott River. Surveys where conducted in coordination with other participating agencies and tribes.
Project Benefit
The project will continue long term monitoring of Spring Chinook and Summer Steelhead populations in the Middle Klamath River. The project will inform fish managers of the population status and determine the need for future habitat restoration and status of recovery if a species is listed for ESA protection.
