Description
The design included options analysis, flood impact assessment, basis of design report, and all design levels ending with 100% designs. Items addressed by the design process include the following: 1) increased available instream habitat, 2) re-establish floodplain and main channel connectivity, 3) reduce mined channel features, 4) reduce water temperatures, 5) increase native riparian vegetation, and 6) demonstrate benefits of river restoration to local community.
Project Benefit
Design a project that will increase channel, floodplain, and riparian habitat to increase Chinook salmon and steelhead trout habitat
