Description: This GIS feature class represents the NASC of adult Pacific hake (age 2+) from the 38 kHz frequency, measured along the 2012 Summer Pacific hake survey transects in 0.5 nmi Vessel Log (VL) sections along each transect. The vessels that completed the survey were the Bell M. Shimada (NOAA) and the W.E. Ricker (Canadian Coast Guard vessel) from S of San Francisco, California to just N of Dixon Entrance, Alaska. Transects were spaced 10 nmi in the N-S direction. The NASC was from an EchoPro output generated on December 19, 2012. This was the final un-kriged NASC that was used to generate the kriged biomass estimate for Pacific hake.
