Description

This 680-acre acquisition ties into the ecosystem of the Dishman Hills Natural Resource Conservation Area, just east of downtown and surrounded by urban areas. The parcel contains white-tailed deer winter range, elk habitat, red-tailed hawk nesting areas, several rare species of butterflies, the spotted frog, and an ecologically diverse riparian corridor.
