Description

This project consits of the correction of two culverts that are barriers to fish passage on the Nitkowski property. They are located on tributaries in the East Fork Lewis River basin. The first site is on an unnamed tributary of Dean Creek and will open 2.39 miles of upstream habitat. The second site is on another unnamed tributary of Dean Creek and will open 2.22 miles of habitat. The esisting two 20 inch plastic culverts will be replaced with an 18 foot span bottomless steel box culvert. The streams are used by steelhead, coho, and resident cutthroat.
