Description    


This project will protect and restore nearly 4500 feet of shoreline within the City of Mt. Vernons Edgewater Park.This project proposes to open up the sloughs at the bar and modify segments of the sloughs to drain properly. The end result will be a functioning side slough system. The project will also remove noxious weeds and non-native vegetation, remove roadway along shoreline, plant with native vegetation, and provide interpretation at selected locations along the shoreline.
