The proposed project is being coordinated with the Payette National Forest. A Decision Notice and Finding of No Significant Impact was sent to interested parties on November 16, 1999. Appeals to this project must be received or postmarked by January 10, 2000. Alternative 4 has been selected, which includes the conversion of 4.1 miles of road in the Hard Creek drainage from a standard vehicle road to an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) trail. The selected alternative also includes the repair of 200 feet of road adjacent to the Little Salmon River.
