Description    


This project will restore riparian habitat along Silver Creek, a tributary to the lower Nooksack River in western Whatcom County, WA. Proposed activities: iIn-stream improvements and bank stabilization to improve cover for fish, improve fish passage, and enhance stream channel complexity by placement of LWD, boulder clusters, and rock weirs; livestock exclusions; ripariant native plant establishment. The project has been submitted to this inventory by USEPA with the permission of NOAA.
