A local crew of five youth and an adult crew leader will work to improve conditions in a section of Swamp Creek. The crew will hand-thin floodplain dog-hair conifer thickets; hand-plant select native hardwood stock; clear fence lanes prior to fence construction; control noxious weeds by hand-pulling and bio-control; and use photo points and land bird surveys to monitor the site.
